Adventures in Tech is a personal blog, written by Andrew Eacott. I started writing posts in January 2024 as part of the traditional new year's resolution to write more.
When I have free time, I tinker. I've run servers at home for 25 years and used them for all sorts of things including experimenting with Kubernetes, setting up home automation and generally making life more complicated. I've had a MythTV PVR server continuously for 19+ years and a Kubernetes cluster for 1 month. Everything is relative.
Why a blog ? Because most of my computing adventures have been massively helped by piecing together guides and snippets from other people and I figure now it's my turn to step up.
